The 2018 NBA Draft will be held on June 21 in Brooklyn. That has worked out nicely for the New York Knicks. Jonathan Wasserman of Bleacher Report and Jeremy Woo of SI have Doncic going fourth to the Memphis Grizzlies.

- Suns want 2nd top 10 pick?

Doncic has the potential to be that guy, but with every pick comes a set of pros and cons that have to be assessed before a team makes its decision - factors that could sway a front office one way or the other.

- Clippers trading up in draft?

Woj suggests that Jackson is a player teams could be targeting if they trade up in the draft. The Clippers have looked to trade up.

If these teams are content with their point guard depth and talent, maybe they look to trade out of the top five and acquire an additional asset (s) from a team looking to move up and select Doncic.

While the Clippers could explore deals including both the 12th and 13th overall pick, a much better opportunity presents itself.

"Given his ability to contribute in a variety of ways, the 6'8" Doncic has the tools to become a superstar in the National Basketball Association.

Yes, Parson's contract is ugly, but the Clippers are in no spot to realistically contend anyway, with or without Parsons.

Early projections for the 2019 draft include 11 SEC players in the mix, with LSU center Naz Reid leading the way as the No. 5 overall pick. Since the Clippers have the right pieces, something tells me that these rumors will become a reality.
