But in the recent documentary with NoClip, Bethesda revealed how many players will be able to play at once. While developing Fallout 4, Bethesda wondered: "Hey, should we do multiplayer?" Fallout 76 is created to be a live game, with the nuclear bunkers functioning as a cyclical end-game content of sorts for players.

"Do you want to go help them.do you want to try to shoot them, however our PvP system ends up working out. all the servers are a 24 person instance, you load in, it'll be full of people", Gardiner added. Don't panic yet though; because Fallout 76's DLC will be free as a result. However, Bethesda eventually revisited Fallout 4's would-be multiplayer and turned it into Fallout 76, which we now know to be an online survival game. We've since learned that the game will be chock-full of West Virginian sights and folklore, that there will be a big emphasis on crafting, and that the nukes players can find and launch will be a big part of the story.

"Do [the players] create an online cold war?"

Fallout 76 will be emerging from a subterranean Vault on 14th November 2018 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. There's also information on how the gameplay works (including why they did away with NPC humans), so if you're at all interested in Fallout 76 this is an absolute must-watch.
