Trump identifies America's biggest enemy

This is not the first time Trump has declared the news media an "enemy" of the United States, as a year ago he said that networks that covered him critically were an "enemy of the people".

Trump, of course, considers The New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, and any news agency that report on his lies to be fake news.

America's biggest enemy is "fake news".

Despite hosting a press conference in Singapore for over 60 minutes with reporters, establishment media remained heavily critical of Trump's meeting with Kim.

Trump went after the press again on Wednesday, this time saying that CNN and NBC are the "biggest enemies" of the country due to their critical, "fake news" coverage on his summit with Kim Jong Un. We are not the enemy of the American people.

Use of "promulgated" may trigger a certain amount of speculation that the tweet was written for Trump by others - though POTUS has insisted he knows "the best words".

"So amusing to watch the Fake News, especially NBC and CNN", the president wrote.

"There is no longer a Nuclear Threat from North Korea", Trump wrote.

The joint statement was also less specific than the agreement North Korea signed at the so-called six-party talks in 2005.

Dear journalists, once again: When someone declares war on you and on freedom of expression, you have two options.
