The two on Saturday released on Tidal their first joint album, the nine-track record Everything Is Love, and a music video for its single "Apes**t".

Jay then responds saying, "Y'all know how I met her, we broke up and got back together / To get her back, I had to sweat her". In the video, directed by Ricky Saiz, the beloved couple bring powerful imagery tied to Black and African culture to life, as they make their way through The Louvre Palace in Paris flanked by Black female dancers while outfitted in custom designer looks. She announced it on her Instagram. much to the delight of millions of fans.

The album is available exclusively on Tidal-the streaming service partly owned by the Carters.

Beyonce has once again "pulled a Beyonce" with the surprise release of Everything Is Love, which on first listen sounds like a make-up album if there ever was one.

There's a long history of celebrities throwing up the ROC sign in tribute to Jay-Z's ROC Nation - but it's safe to say none of them have quite mastered it like Blue Ivy.

In 2013, Beyonce released the self-titled album "Beyonce" without any notice.
