Former NBA forward J.J. Hickson is in trouble with the law.

According to Fox 5 Atlanta, Hickson was arrested and booked into Coweta County Jail on Friday night for suspected involvement in a "frightening" home invasion earlier in the day. According to a report from Bleacher Report's Rob Goldberg, Hickson was arrested and charged with home invasion in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Coweta County Sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Yarbrough told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that a number of personal items were taken and someone was attacked during the incident. "A canvas was conducted and we were able to identify a suspect and a vehicle". There were two suspects involved in the crime, but only Hickson faces charges at this time. He is expected to appear in court on Saturday.

The Cavs selected Hickson in the first round of the 2008 NBA Draft and played with the team for three seasons.

He last played in the National Basketball Association during the 2015-16 season for the Washington Wizards.

He has continued his career overseas, spending time this season playing in both China and Lebanon.
