Not all heroes wear capes, or Wakandan catsuits.

Jordan chose to make a surprise reference to Roseanne Barr during Monday night's acceptance speech for "Best Villian" at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards, and boy was it ideal.

Jordan's comment wasn't the only swipe directed at Barr during the event: While presenting the Best Hero award with Zazie Beetz, Olivia Munn listed "that guy who fired Roseanne" alongside first responders and other real-life heroes.

In his acceptance speech on Saturday, Boseman thanked the incredibly courageous James Shaw Jr., the 29-year-old who disarmed the Waffle House shooter without being armed himself, likely saving many lives in the process.

In addition to the Roseanne shot, the Black Panther actor also added a request from his costar Chadwick Boseman: "He personally asked me to ask y'all to stop asking him to say "Wakanda Forever" out on the streets. So I just want to acknowledge somebody that's here today: James Shaw Jr".

Best Hero: James Shaw Jr. gives the Wakanda salute on stage.
