World-renowned celebrity chef found dead in France; experts encourage candid doctor-patient discussions.

French officials told The New York Times that Bourdain did not have any narcotics in his system at the time of his death.

The Times also revealed that Anthony had no narcotics in his system when he died earlier this month.

Bourdain, 61, was found unresponsive by his friend and fellow chef Eric Ripert.

As of now, it is still unclear whether CNN will air Season 12 of the show, which Bourdain was in the midst of filming at the time of his death.

Previously, de Rocquigny told People that there was no evidence of violence in Bourdain's death.

The notable culinary connoisseur has been open about his drug use, admitting in his 2000 memoir Kitchen Confidential that he tried every mind-altering substances as an up-and-coming chef situated in New York City.

Bourdain entered rehab and got sober in the early '90s, but still drank even when cameras stopped rolling.

Bourdain was cremated in France last week and his remains were then sent back to his younger brother, Christopher, in the United States.

"He would want as little fuss as possible", Bourdain's mother, Gladys, shared, adding that the family will likely gather together for a smaller, more private ceremony of their own.

Ms Bourdain plans on getting a tattoo of the name "Tony" tattooed on the inside of her wrist next week.
