It's now unclear what future awaits for Ghost in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after the Ant-Man sequel, or if she even survives for that to be a possibility. The billion-dollar movie studio and comic book company will have to find a way to entertain viewers who just watched one of the most epic battles unfold in Avengers: Infinity War. With Ant-Man and the Wasp, which sees Evangeline Lilly's Hope van Dyne finally suiting up alongside Paul Rudd's Scott Lang, Reed has been involved since the beginning. In the first film, it is explained that the original Ant-Man, Hank Pym, lost his wife Janet in the Quantum Realm.

'These characters are going to be very important going forward'.

While first reactions are always subject to some scrutiny and ultimately it's just a tweet or two and not a full review, the vibe coming from "Ant-Man & The Wasp" suggests that it's the flawless comedic follow-up to 'Infinity War' and its doom-and-gloom ending. The mysterious dimension is a place where time and space cease to exists, and can be accessed by the tiny heroes once they shrink to a size smaller than a molecule.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is set for release on August 3 in the UK.
