His cause of death will ultimately be determined by the Maricopa County Medical Examiner. "I just feel like I can't continue on".

William "Billy" Knight's body was found on a roadway at 2:45 a.m. near downtown. Knight starts off the roughly 6-minute clip by saying, "This is probably my last message on Earth". According to Phoenix police, there are no signs of foul play.

Prior to his death on Sunday, former UCLA Bruins basketball player Billy Knight had been charged with six felonies for allegedly sexually abusing a child, TMZ Sports reported Wednesday. I lied. I cheated.

"I isolated myself from my family members", Knight said. If this happens, you probably have a mental illness.

In the video, Knight issues an apology to his family and friends as well as a damning caution urging those who are depressed not to follow 'his route'. He also noted that he "felt like I didn't belong here on earth". Unfortunately, Knight couldn't get the help he needed in time, and UCLA fans have to say goodbye to another athlete far too early.

During his time playing for UCLA from 1998-2002, Knight, 39, averaged over 14 points per game in his senior year, but went undrafted in the 2002 NBA Draft.

UCLA Basketball tweeted a tribute to Knight on Tuesday. "We ask that the Bruin family keep Billy's loved ones in their thoughts during this hard time", tweeted the UCLA men's basketball program. He would go undrafted by the National Basketball Association, but played until 2016 for various teams around the world in countries like France and Japan.

Knight was a basketball operations assistant for the Northern Arizona Suns of the developmental G League in the 2016-17 season.

Former Phoenix Suns head coach and UCLA teammate Earl Watson posted a video clip on Instagram of him and Knight laughing in a auto.
