Missing out on Champions League spots under Antonio Conte was a huge issue and we can not spend another year out of Europe's elite club competition.

According to the "Daily Mail", the 59-year-old is most likely to sign a two-year deal with the club, with the option of a third year on the table.

Chelsea linked attacker Jose Callejon will consider offers to depart Napoli later in the summer if he receives lucrative proposals on his table.

Maurizio Sarri's protracted move to Chelsea seems to be moving closer to completion, and the Italian coach wants his soon to be new club to fork out £140milliom on five transfer targets.

Reports in Italy say a €5m compensation agreement has been reached but Chelsea are still hoping to avoid a significant pay-off for Antonio Conte, who is determined not to break his own contract.

De Laurentiis claimed that Chelsea have not yet made an attempt to sign Sarri.

The Sun have reported in the past that, as re-reported and translated from Corriere Dello Sport, Sarri is set to sign a three-year deal with the Blues, something that'll be music to the ears of the Stamford Bridge faithful.

Peculiarly, it has been reported that Sarri will live at Chelsea's Cobham training ground upon completion of his move, as the former Empoli manager seeks to rebuild his squad ahead of the return of players on July 9.
