Now, Ms McCormick, from Glasgow, said, Mr Trump was outraging the world by separating the children of migrants from their parents at the USA border.

'The president's visit is an opportunity to strengthen vital links with one of our most important global allies.

Now the punk-folk group hope their song will be chanted by crowds at some of the anti-Trump demonstrations planned across Scotland during his visit this weekend.

But protests against Mr Trump have already started, with about a dozen activists from Stand Up to Racism Scotland staging a brief demo outside the Turnberry course on Wednesday.

Gatherings and rallies are planned across the United Kingdom from Thursday, when Trump is expected to touch down in Britain.

Hoodoo Zephyr's frontman Harry Scratch also references Trump's battle to build a golf course in the Aberdeenshire area at Menie Estate in the North East village of Balmedie.

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has in the past been an outspoken critic of Mr Trump, with a Scottish Government spokesman saying there are no official meetings planned between the two leaders.

"We urge that the Scottish Government rules out any use of Prestwick by the president or his entourage, and so send the most powerful message possible that Donald Trump is not welcome in Scotland".

'At the same time, we will not compromise our fundamental values of equality, diversity and human rights, and we expect these values to be made clear during the presidential visit to the UK.

"We would encourage those attending any protests to do so peacefully and safely".
