"My message to those coming to the protests in London is that this must be peaceful and good-spirited".

'I would say Brexit is Brexit, ' he said.

The 'Drag Protest Parade for the Trump UK visit' has been organised by a drag troupe from Manchester, who will be travelling down to London on Friday morning for the event.

President Trump will arrive at a London airport on one of his two specially modified Boeing 747-200s.

With Trump at all times will be a White House doctor and one of five rotating military aides who carry the nuclear "football" - equipped with communication tools and a book with prepared war plans.

John Scardino, 58, a high school teacher from the United States who has lived in Britian for 18 years and will be at Friday's protests in London, is dubious that the embassy alert would have any effect on crowd size.

Ignoring all diplomatic niceties, the convention-shredding USA president set up the four-day visit with a rebuke of his beleaguered host as she battles to stop her government falling apart over Brexit.

34-year-old Eric flew into Aberdeen Airport on a Trump plane earlier today, with his father flying into the United Kingdom around lunchtime ahead of a meeting with the Prime Minister and the Queen. Many thousands of Britons are expected to protest against Mr Trump in London and other cities. After a dinner for business leaders in Blenheim Palace, birthplace of Winston Churchill, he will spent the night in the ambassador's residence in north London. "I think that's why Brexit happened".

A high metal fence has been erected around the United States ambassador's central London residence where Trump will spend Thursday night.

"No, the president is not avoiding anything", he told a press briefing last week. All NATO members agreed in 2014 to mandate spending 2 percent of their gross domestic product on defense within 10 years, spending that effectively buys NATO protection.

"The UK loves me, in fact my mother was from the UK, they love me there even if they are not treating us well with trades, but they will", he said.

His "America First" policies, including the decision to pull the US out of the Paris climate accord and the nuclear deal with Iran, also have brought him into conflict with Britain's leaders over substantive geopolitical issues. When he leaves Britain on Sunday, after a trip to Scotland where he owns two golf courses, he heads to Helsinki for a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump was largely steering clear of London, where protests are planned and where organizers had permission to fly a blimp over Parliament portraying the president as an orange crying baby.

Trump added that the U.K.is a "pretty hot spot", given the recent upheaval in the government there. Trump and Putin, who have never met for an official summit, will hold three sessions before the USA president returns to Washington, D.C., early Tuesday.

A working visit means Trump will not be hosted by the queen and will not get to spend his night at the Buckingham Palace or Windsor Castle.
