ORIGINAL: WWE has officially announced today that former Superstar Hulk Hogan has been reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame.

A fellow WWE Hall of Famer, five-time WCW champion and one-time heavyweight champion, Booker T agreed that Hogan deserves a second chance, saying on his radio show that "the only thing Hogan can do is apologize and atone for it and we move forward".

Hogan was inducted into the Boys & Girls Club of America Alumni Hall of Fame in May, where he gave a speech. Following matches at consecutive SummerSlams in 2005 and 2006 with Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton, respectively, Hogan took a long hiatus from the company but returned in 2014 as the host of WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans.

Following Hulk Hogan's three-year suspension that left him without employment in the WWE, the legendary wrestler was reinstated and couldn't be happier.

WWE severed all ties with the wrestling legend after his comments about his daughter's sex life were caught on tape and uncovered in 2015.

His photo and biography were back on the Hall of Fame page on Sunday. With Hogan and the WWE having made several public statements back and forth over the past year or so reinforcing their relationship and putting good PR before bad, it seems at least within the realm of possibility that we could see the Hulkster run wild this evening.

Somehow, Hulk Hogan had both a sex tape scandal and an N-word scandal all at once. After his suspension was lifted, Hogan tweeted that he had interacted with WWE talent, giving the indication he is at or near the PPG Paints Arena, where the show is being held.

WWE confirmed to CBS Sports that it has not signed Hogan to any type of contract at this time. I can not confirm whether he will make an appearance in some form at Extreme Rules.
