Kensington Palace released four official portraits of the royals, showing the Cambridges as a family of five for the first time.

The whole family is together.

The Cambridges are now a family of five.

The original Royal Christening Robe, which was created for Queen Victoria's daughter, was last wore by Lady Louis the current monarch's great-granddaughter.

Family and friends of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge gathered at the Chapel Royal at St James's Palace last week, and it seems to have been a joyous occasion for all. In gorgeous photos taken by Matt Holyoak at Clarence House, the Royal Family is looking especially sharp in neutral toned blues, taupes and creams. I only hope I have captured some of that joy in my photographs, ' Holyoak said in an official statement.

The first image features the Cambridge family seated while the Duchess of Cambridge holds Prince Louis in her arms, while The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Prince of Wales, Mrs Carole Middleton, Mr Michael Middleton, Pippa Middleton, James Matthews and James Middleton stand behind the family.

The Royal Family photos are the first official pictures Meghan has appeared since her Royal Wedding and show she has well and truly been accepted into the firm.

The photos were taken in the morning room and garden of Clarence House.

That gown was worn for all subsequent royal baptisms including the present Queen, her children and grandchildren. One shows only members of the royal family, with Charlotte holding her baby brother's tiny hand.

The christening of Prince Louis has been marked by the release of a set of family photographs.
