Buckingham Palace refuted claims in the article that Trump had insulted the Queen by refusing to bow and walked in front of her when inspecting the guard. On Monday, Good Morning Britain aired an interview Trump did with host Piers Morgan, in which he recalled the queen saying Brexit was "a very complex problem".

"This business of Prince Charles and Prince William not being there for the Trump visit was a snub", an insider told The Times.

Future kings Prince William and Prince Charles reportedly wanted nothing to do with Trump's visit to England last week, the UK's The Sunday Times reports.

Prince Charle is seen more often with the Queen recently since Prince Philip, 97, has retired from royal duties.

She wrote: "It was an honor to meet and have tea with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II".

Additionally, a Whitehall official said the Trumps time with the Queen was brief, "kept to a bare minimum".

Not only that, he enjoyed a private dinner at Kensington Palace that was attended by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as well as Prince Harry, reports Newsweek.

The protests in the United Kingdom continued Saturday as Trump visited his golf club at Turnberry.

As reported, trump revealed the details of the conversation with the British Queen Elizabeth. Trump's visit was a working visit, while Obama's was a state visit in 2011, and therefore there were inevitable differences with the way they were received.

A Downing Street source said: 'This was always going to be just the Queen'. "It was entirely in line with standard practice for guest of government visits [for] The Queen to receive the President and First Lady", a palace spokesperson said, according to The Independent.

Mr Trump flew to Helsinki on Sunday ahead of his one-to-one meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin.
