Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams says she's seeking help for the depression she has struggled with for years.

Michelle confirmed that she is seeking help in a statement to TMZ.

"I'm so proud of your courage and commitment in this!" wrote Chad Johnson, her fiancé.

Michelle Williams is taking some time for herself.

Similarly, Beyoncé's younger sister Solange Knowles said, "Love u so Michelle! Sending u all the love in the world". The singer, who reunited with Kelly Rowland and Beyonce at Coachella 2018, opened up about her experience while guest co-hosting The Talk back in October.

"For years, I'm in one of the top-selling female groups of all time, suffering with depression", she admitted. I just thought I was turning into a woman. "When I disclosed it to our manager [Matthew Knowles] at the time, bless his heart, he was like 'y'all just signed a multi-million dollar deal, you're about to go on tour, what do you have to be depressed about.' So I was like, 'maybe I'm just exhausted, '" Michelle added. "So I went to him, and it's kind of like, he could've been right". Missy Elliott tweeted, "I want to lift our sis up in prayer because there are so many people battling this and many trying to deal with it alone". "I was to that place where it got so dark and heavy ... and I wanted out".

Previous year in October, she stopped by The Talk to reveal that despite being at the peak of her career, she was still dealing with a lot of unexplained sadness.
