To most onlookers jewelry is just jewelry.

The Queen inherited the brooch in 2002.

Royal fans have suggested that Queen Elizabeth II carefully picked her bling to make a subtle statement against the controversial president. It's unclear who is behind the account, which gleaned much of its information from a royal jewelry blog.

Saturday's engagement is the first time that the Queen has been photographed wearing the brooch since it was gifted to her.

The Queen debuts her new flower brooch from the Obamas in 2011. "To her it's nearly like royal orders".

On arrival day, the Queen was pictured wearing a brooch she received from the Obamas. She wore a brooch the Obamas gave her. It's not an American brooch, any would be amusing.

"She chose THIS ONE. This one was purchased out-of-pocket by Michelle and Barack Obama and given to her as a personal gift", she wrote.

Here @SamuraiKnitter wrote: "The US has given QE (Queen Elizabeth) jewellery before over the years and I bet her dresser could put hands on any and all of it given five minutes".

Continuing the Twitter thread she explains: "It's called the Sapphire Jubillee Brooch, and it was given to the Queen of England as a gift for ruling for eleventy billion (okay, 65)". "You know, who Trump's been screaming about and insulting".

'The commonwealth country and one of the UK's greatest allies.

Some online speculated that this brooch was chosen over the traditional maple leaf-shaped brooch because it resembles a snowflake, perhaps a knowing nod to the slang term popularized by Trump for those on the political left.

But not everyone is convinced there is any juice in this gossip.

But some eagle-eyed royal watchers believe Her Majesty sent a subtle political message with her choice of brooches during U.S. President Donald Trump's visit to the United Kingdom last week. Is the Queen sneakily signaling her disapproval of America's current president? "Gods save the Queen, or she'll kick their a**es too".

The Canadian brooch simply went "beautifully with the outfit", she said. "She doesn't only wear Canadian jewelry when meeting Canadians".

"QE rolled up to tea with the Trumps wearing the brooch her mother wore to her father's STATE FUNERAL".

On the last day of President Trump's visit, the queen wore a sapphire jubilee snowflake brooch, which was a gift from the Canadian people.
