"The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg reclaimed her time Thursday after an intense on-air shouting match with Fox News host Jeanine Pirro that erupted into a full-on argument backstage, replete with f-bombs and all.

After Pirro talked about how the FBI's investigation of President Trump was based on "a fake document by an opposing candidate", Navarro changed the subject, asking Pirro if she thought Trump was actually a conservative.

"Change is coming, and it's not coming because it's even ideological, it's coming because you're endangering, you're allowing things that endanger our children, our country, our air", she said, adding, "I just want people in (power) who remember what the promise of America is".

Pirro has appeared on both "Hannity" and "Fox & Friends" to tell her side of the story, while Goldberg offered her rebuttal at the opening of Friday's episode of "The View". The left, they invite you on to talk, they then won't let you talk, they throw you off the show and then they throw you out of the building.

"Listen, I'm 62 years old", she continues. I have never, ever seen anything like this. "I have never, ever seen anything like this". I have never been treated like that in my life.

A source told Page Six that the tension began when Pirro arrived at the show to learn that anti-Trump CNN contributor Ana Navarro was there to fill in for Joy Behar, and felt that, "the segment was being hijacked". The fight ended with Goldberg yelling at Pirro, "Fuck you, get the fuck out!" according to the Page Six report.

Another source told us that Pirro "was upset that Ana was there because she wasn't told until the last minute". That's when Goldberg lost her cool - again.

"Say goodbye, goodbye. I'm done", she said, before apologising to viewers for her behaviour after a commercial break. "When the president of the United States whips up people to beat the hell out of people", Goldberg fired back.

At the end of her message to the show's viewers, Goldberg acknowledged that Pirro "likes to stir it up", and although Goldberg usually doesn't bite, yesterday, she did.

Fox News host and judge Jeanine Pirro recently stopped by The View, and contrary to the Fox News host's political views, things went all the way left. "Say good-bye. I'm done".

Goldberg continued her account of the events, saying, "But she did leave here cursing at the people who booked the show, she cursed at the guys who do the security for the show".

When I came off stage, I went over there, because I was a little hot, okay?

Despite her feelings toward Pirro at that moment, Goldberg apologized to the audience for the blowup. "[Pirro] was yelling at ['The View"] executive producer and her staff like, "You need to handle this'".

"I've been a prosecutor, judge, DA for 30 years".

She said Friday that show has celebrated hearing from people with different opinions for almost two decades.
