Soon after Barr posted the offensive tweet, she apologized on Twitter to Valerie Jarrett and all Americans, writing that she was truly sorry for the "bad joke" about Jarrett and her politics.

In front of her son and a couple members of her team, she says.

Roseanne Barr is attempting to explain the racist tweet that landed her in hot water. GODDAMMIT! I thought the bitch was white!

"I thought the bitch was white!" Frustrated, she tells him that she's trying to talk about the Iran deal and Jarrett, thought he producer replies that she's "told [him] this three different times". Roseanne-who seems totally disoriented, irritated, and is smoking indoors-soon starts yelling: "I'm trying to talk about Iran!"

A source tells ET that the interviewer heard in the video is not Rabbi Schmuley Boteach, who interviewed Barr last month via his podcast.

'I've lost everything. And I regretted it before I lost everything and I said to God, "I am willing to accept whatever consequences this brings because I know I've done wrong". I'm going to accept what the consequences are, ' and I do, and I have.' But they don't ever stop. And as a Jew, it's just terrible.

Barr will release episodes of the show directly on her YouTube channel, with the released clip giving a preview of the show's first episode. But I have to face that it hurt people.

Commenting on the announcement of The Conners, Roseanne said: 'I regret the circumstances that have caused me to be removed from Roseanne.

Meanwhile, a spin-off based on the rest of the cast, with no involvement from Roseanne, is now confirmed to be in the works.

The television broadcasting company ABC is now working on a spin-off of Roseanne titled The Conners that will not feature Barr's character and will focus on the rest of the cast instead.
