Angelina's team has accused Brad of not paying "meaningful" child support, while Brad's lawyers call bull, asserting that not only has he paid over 1.3 million in child support, he even LENT her money for a new house!

In a two-page brief filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, Ange's attorney Samantha Bley DeJean stated Brad has a "duty to pay child support" and claimed he "has paid no meaningful child support since the separation".

Pitt's attorneys said in documents they filed for him that Jolie Pitt's lawyers have made no mention that she had any problems with the amounts he has given her for the children.

However, attorneys for the "Inglourious Basterds" star have countered, claiming he loaned the actress $8 million to purchase a home and gave her $1.3 million for bills related to Jolie and their kids.

In June, US Weekly reported that Jolie and Pitt had reached a new temporary custody agreement, which laid out all of the dates during the [northern hemisphere] summer that the actor would have custody of Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, Vivienne, 10 and Knox, 10.

Jolie Pitt's filing also said she wanted to have the couple's marriage dissolved by the end of the year by separating some of the lingering issues to be resolved later.

Brad Pitt isn't playing around when it comes to Angelina Jolie, and vice versa. Neither side specified what those issues were.

Jolie and Pitt divorced in 2016 after two years of marriage and were romantically linked as early as 2005.

"Given the informal arrangements around the payment of the children's expenses have not been regularly sustained by [Pitt] for over a year and a half, [Jolie] intends to file [a request for a court order] for the establishment of a retroactive child support order".

Mr Pitt's lawyers say the actor actually suggested this move and it had already been agreed to.

The divorce filing, citing irreconcilable differences, triggered a bitter custody dispute during which Pitt was investigated and cleared of child abuse.

Angelina Jolie, left, and Brad Pitt arrive at the 2015 AFI Fest opening night premiere of "By The Sea" in Los Angeles.
