Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton walked over towards Buffalo Bills receiver Kelvin Benjamin before the Bills-Panthers NFL scrimmage in Buffalo Thursday.

Tim Graham of The Athletic interviewed Benjamin on Friday and the wide receiver didn't pull any punches on his time spent with the Panthers or Cam Newton.

During individual warmups about an hour and a half before the game, a photographer from The Charlotte Observer captured Newton approaching Benjamin as he spoke with former teammate and current Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis.

Cam appeared to try to squash the beef in the leadup to Carolina's preseason game with the Bills. but when Newton walked up to the wideout, things took a turn. "It just felt like I wasn't in that position".

"I just think Carolina was bad for me", Benjamin told The Athletic. I don't know, man ... A first-round draft pick, Benjamin looked destined to be Newton's top receiver for years until the injury, and he never reproduced his numbers from a strong rookie season after returning from injury. Any other accurate quarterback like Rodgers or Eli Manning or Big Ben - anybody! - quarterbacks with knowledge, that know how to place a ball and give you a better chance to catch the ball.

When Benjamin said Newton was an inaccurate passer last week, the quarterback didn't seem bothered by it.
