Macaulay Culkin has revealed he turned down lead role in The Big Bang Theory - costing him 'hundreds of millions of dollars'.

While on Joe Rogan's Joe Rogan Experience podcast, the 37 year old actor, most famous for his role in Home Alone, revealed that he could have been on The Big Bang Theory from its very premiere back in 2007.

"I'm gonna make some babies", he said when asked by Rogan if he wants kids.

But after a run of disappointing returns in The Nutcracker, getting even With Dad, The Pagemaster and Richie Rich, Culkin largely turned away from the big screen in 1994, appearing only in a handful of quirky projects since then, including his pizza-themed comedy rock band the Pizza Underground. It was kind of like, the way the pitch was, 'Alright, these two astrophysicist nerds and a pretty girl lives with them. That was the pitch. "Again, flattered, but no.' Then they came back at me again, and even my manager was, like, twisting my arm".

'They were like, we're going to get some real physicists to do the math and I was like no, I'm cool, thanks.

The star said: 'I don't pursue it in any way, I don't have agents. "And that's something that took me a long time to come out and be like, 'Yeah, you know what, I was a d*ck, ' and accept it and I own it". I don't like the pursuit of it. He touched on his relationship with Song, 30, and called her "a good one", adding, "I am probably going to put some babies in her like in a little bit". I don't like being on the circuit kind of thing.

'I have a good life now, I have a special lady friend, we have a dog and a cat.

Macaulay Culkin is definitely serious about girlfriend Brenda Song.
