Last night, the Pittsburgh Steelers took on the Philadelphia Eagles and by the time the game would be over with, the NFL would launch an investigation after the Steelers were seemingly caught using a deflated football the third quarter of Thursday's night preseason match-up, according to Howard Eskin of WIP. "In the 3Q, a football that was found to be defective was removed from play, will be sent back to Wilson for review".

"I was three yards away from it", Eskin-the Eagles' radio sideline reporter on 94WIP-said of the deflated football that ended up out of bounds.

"All footballs were in compliance with NFL rules following the pregame inspection process & all proper procedures were followed", the statement read, as tweeted by NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.

Eskin said the National Football League has one of the balls in question, adding that it was very deflated and like a marshmellow.

The punishment from the first Deflategate, which happened in the AFC Championship Game in 2015, was a four-game suspension for New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, and a $1 million fine and two docked draft picks for the Patriots.
