Of course missing from that list is "ol" Slaphead himself Harry Maguire.

Manchester United won't get a chance to sign Harry Maguire from Leicester City in the January transfer window.

"It is very good to have Harry back", Leicester left-back Chilwell told reporters after he and Maguire played in Leicester's 2-1 Premier League defeat at Old Trafford on Friday.

The 25-year-old, a target for Manchester United, starred as England reached the semi-finals in Russian Federation, where Puel believes his player announced himself as "one of the best" centre-halves in the world.

"I am happy to keep Harry".

Both players have been the subject of intense transfer speculation over the summer especially Maguire who ironically could have been playing for United with the Red Devils having made it clear they wanted him but the Foxes managed to hold on to their star defender. "It would have been a good reward for our play". And I am happy with his attitude.

Leicester have already lost influential winger Riyad Mahrez to Manchester City in the current transfer window, and Puel wants to keep the rest of his core group of players at the club.

"He came back with (Leicester and England team mate) Jamie (Vardy) with a smile, with freshness". It is not serious.

"We found success with good moves and good quality and perhaps in the second-half we had good energy to finish this performance for another result but I think at the end it is a disappointment".

"After that, we needed to be more clinical to finish our good moves and we could have had another result".

Manchester United's potential starting XI: De Gea; Lindelof, Bailly, Smalling, Shaw; Fred, Herrera, Pereira; Mata, Sanchez, Rashford.

One of the Three Lions' standout performers at the World Cup, the 25-year-old was strongly linked with a move away from the King Power Stadium just a year after arriving from Hull.
