Thomas Markle slams Prince Harry's phone call following surgery as 'rude'

As part of his ongoing campaign to raise awareness of himself, Meghan Markle's dad Thomas has revealed the details of a heated phone call he shared with Prince Harry, in which he hung on up on his future son-in-law after being caught in a lie about some paparazzi photos. "But this time around, they were drawn to me", she said.

Harry reportedly called Thomas to ask if the reports of him staging photos were true, to which Thomas claims that he lied to the Prince, telling him that he "was being measured for a hoodie". "That it would end in tears".

He also claimed Harry had warned him about the paparazzi in the past. Thomas claimed he then told the royal, "Maybe it would be better for you guys if I was dead...then you could pretend to be sad". Thomas never made it to the wedding after suffering from a heart attack.

Two years after he first met Meghan Markleand shortly after jetted off with her to Botswana, Prince Harryhas returned to their special place solo.

Photos of Harry's most recent trip this week have not been released, but royal reporter Carolyn Durand managed to take a screenshot of video taken while Harry was visiting a Xarakao village. "But as for the rest of it, f**k it. They were very forgiving", he revealed during the paid interview.

Meanwhile, a source told ET last week that Meghan remains upset that her father continues giving interviews to the press.
