She even claims three sources told her that Trump was recorded using the N-word off-camera "multiple times".

On Monday the 44-year-old, once a staunch defender of President Trump, released a recording of what she claims is a phone conversation she had with Mr Trump after she was sacked.

She added that the remarks were made in reference to Kwame Jackson, an African American contestant on the show.

She held the role as director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison in the Trump administration from January to December 2017. "And the bottom line is, I can tell you for a fact she was complicit, but she also did the bidding, and she wanted to prove that she was in their camp because she used to be a Democrat".

She claimed that a tape captured Trump making racial slurs during the run of "The Apprentice".

"But I will say this to you, I was complicit with this White House deceiving this nation", she said on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday.

"There might be the perception, particularly by our enemies, that the entire White House might be compromised, and that's kind of scary", she said, adding: "The audience isn't just us and Omarosa and Trump. Now that she says bad about me, they will talk to her".

Now, according to former White House aide to the president, Omarosa Manigault Newman, the rumors are likely true.

She said she did not write this in her book because she heard the tape after her memoir was sent off for publication.

"The first thing he said was that the Hillary Clinton people started the birther movement; 'Omarosa, you're so naive, '" she said on MSNBC. Before becoming president, Trump himself had a reputation for quietly recording conversations during his business dealings in NY.

Earlier this year, the White House said President Trump met with top advisers and held meetings in the Situation Room before the launching of airstrikes on Syrian military targets.

Manigault Newman also weighed in on that controversial jacket that Melania Trump wore when visiting the child detention center right in the midst of the blowback the President received for his inhumane policy of separating immigrant children from their parents. She begged me for a job, tears in her eyes, I said Ok. "But she gladly, spitefully, wrecked her husbands' directives to make him look foolish". White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway said Sunday on ABC that there are "confidentiality agreements" in the West Wing. "I had to calm myself down or I could have had a full-blown asthma attack", Manigault-Newman writes in the prologue.

It was not clear exactly what he was referring to. "They had worked to try to suppress this tape for so long".

LTo the many dozens of #journalists who called me, questioning @OMAROSA claim in her new book that @POTUS @realDonaldTrump took a note from me, put it in his mouth and ate it.I saw NO such thing and am shocked anyone would take this seriously.

"He has not gone far enough", Cummings said.

[MUSIC] I can't expand upon, because I have to still go back to work with these individuals, but when I have a chance to tell my story, Michael Quite a story to tell.

Trump said in an August 13 tweet that Manigault Newman indeed signed such an agreement.

"When Gen. Kelly came on board he told me she was a loser & nothing but problems".
