The Fast and Furious filmmakers have made no indication that they are planning to bring Brian O'Connor back to the franchise after giving the character, and Walker, a proper sendoff in Furious 7.

The latest: Paul Walker's brothers Caleb and Cody Walker are willing to reprise his Fast And Furious role of Brian O'Conner.

It's been nearly five years since the passing of Paul Walker and his two brothers, Caleb and Cody, are very much open to keeping his character alive in the Fast and Furious franchise.

Caleb Walker, 40, and Cody Walker, 30, opened up about the task of filling their late brother's shoes in the films, almost five years after his death, and their subsequent assistance in helping complete the seventh installment of the film. When Paul passed away after a vehicle crash in 2013, his brothers filled in for the scenes Paul had yet to film for Furious 7 by having his face digitally superimposed onto his brother's bodies. 'That's my dream and I hope we get to do that in one of the future movies'.

Cody Walker, 30, said that "there could potentially be a way to do it" though 'it would take a lot of thought and it'd have to be would have to be tasteful'. "He was the real deal, the real vehicle guy". 'And in his absence, I - you know - I think it's lost its way in a big way'. "It's kind of creepy sometimes when you're like, 'Oh, that's me.' It doesn't feel right", Caleb explained.

The brothers have been on the promotional trail for a Paramount Network documentary about the beloved star titled I Am Paul Walker.

'But in the meantime, it's still a little conflicted'.

The upcoming film in the franchise will be the Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham spin-off set to be released next year.
