Stormy Daniels has blamed her last-minute decision to pull out of an appearance on Channel 5's Celebrity Big Brother on a "custody development" involving her child.

The American adult film star was expected to be in the line-up of the Channel 5 reality show, but reportedly dropped out at the last minute on Thursday evening.

"When Stormy realized that the show's producers were trying to produce a certain result, and she wasn't going to be free to be herself as planned, she withdrew", Clifford's lawyer, Michael Avenatti, told NBC News.

Sources close to the star explained, "Stormy knows she has the upper hand here, considering the Trump-affair has made her ratings gold".

He added that reports that Stormy asked for more money, and that Big Brother tried to control and influence Daniels' behaviour, were false.

Immediately Stormy was seen on the screen where she revealed: 'I'm now involved in a huge media storm involving the US President. "She says she is furious and wants to be sat here".

"She thought "I can't commit", she said being a mother comes first".

Moore continued: "She wanted to go on the [Celebrity Big Brother] live show and explain [what had happened] and that was all agreed, she says, and then suddenly they said, 'We don't want you to do any of it'".

When producers declined to pay extra, she quit the show, according to The Sun.

Asked whether anyone else in the United States had paid Daniels not to appear on the show, Moore said she had told her it was "not about money".

This year's Celebrity Big Brother 2018 earnings have been revealed and the line up are said to be annoyed at the huge disparity in earnings, with the highest paid earning a whopping £750,000, and the lowest only £40,000.

Channel 5, which airs the reality series, declined to comment.

"Producers discussed a variety of options with her but were unable to agree any acceptable conditions for her entering the house", a spokesperson for the network added.

Stormy Daniels has pulled out of two British TV shows in the space of 24 hours amid suggestions she was going to talk about her alleged affair with Donald Trump.

Hollywood star Kirstie Alley, former Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas, rogue trader Nick Leeson and footballer Jermaine Pennant were among the stars who entered the CBB house during the live launch episode.
