Chelsea beat Arsenal 3-2 in a pulsating London Premier League derby on Saturday with defender Marcos Alonso scoring an 81st-minute victor after the Gunners had fought back from an early 2-0 deficit.

He played down talk of Chelsea contesting the title, despite winning their first two games of the season, saying his side needed to learn to keep up their tempo.

"The attacking moment is all the team and the defensive moment is all the team".

Morata doubled Chelsea's lead latching on to pass from Cesar Azpilicueta in the 20th minute to cut inside Shkodran Mustafi before firing his shot past Petr Cech for his first goal of the season. "We need to continue, to press and press and press in the other half, otherwise we will have a problem".

"We started shaky, I don't know, maybe we didn't know what to do, but we picked ourselves up and got going", Iwobi said.

Iwobi was replaced in the 74th minute by Alexandre Lacazette while Oliver Giroud came on for Alvaro Morata with 15 minutes left to play.

However, the pre-match press conference saw Maurizio Sarri having to discuss a potential high-profile departure yet again.

"We didn't defend very well in the first half, all the team". But, at the other moments, when we are not able to press in the other half, we are in trouble. Off the field, the second half featured another fun moment, as cameras caught new Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri popping a piece of gum into his mouth.

Morata's fourth goal in 2018 was another positive for Chelsea, but Sarri believes there is more to come from the Spain worldwide. "I'm really very happy with him". But I think, also, that Morata can do better.

"I think Mateo can become a great player". He can do better in the future, I think'.
