Producers didn't provide details, but Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter wrote Thursday that Paul will be a regular on the sci-fi series, which features robots that fulfill human fantasies until the arrangement goes haywire in a robot revolt.

Aaron Paul will reportedly join "Westworld" for season three.

Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul is headed to Westworld.

There's no word on Paul's possible role.

The addition of the Triple 9 actor follows the news that series regular James Marsden, 44, is set to appear on Netflix's forthcoming television series Dead to Me, which may signal his exit from the HBO show.

The show finished up its second season on June 24, and was renewed for a third season back on May 1.

More recently, he also held the role of Eddie Lane, a follower of the fictional religion Meyerism, in Hulu's The Path.

While there's been no confirmation that he won't return to Westworld, this could leave a leading-man role open for Paul.

The team behind Westworld are not known for letting information slip about their plans ahead of new seasons. Paul is also now shooting the Apple drama "Are You Sleeping", in which he will star opposite Octavia Spencer and Lizzy Kaplan.
