Willian: I want an extra five years at Chelsea

Chelsea have defeated Huddersfield, Arsenal, Newcastle and Bournemouth, and are one of only three teams to boast a 100 per cent record.

'I know I have two years of contract left but I hope to stay more years in the Premier League'.

Although the 45-year-old realises that the Premier League is a tough completion, he reckons that Sarri can taste success with his progressive possession based tactics and in the process write a new chapter in the history of the Stamford Bridge outfit.

These headaches didn't seem to hinder the progress of Sarri's revolution, because as Darke points out the transfer window passed with Chelsea having kept hold of many of their key assets as well as bringing in Napoli midfield technician Jorginho and Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to replace the departed Courtois.

Injury problems allied to him falling out with Conte restricted Luiz to just ten league appearances last season but he looks set to be a central figure in the new regime.

"I never went onto the pitch in a Chelsea shirt thinking, "We're going to lose today", Luiz told Chelsea's official website.

The Brazilian has played every single minute of the Blues' Premier League campaign so far this season and continues to remain at the top of the pecking order, despite Chelsea shifting to a back four this season. Manchester City, Manchester United, and also the smaller teams have good players.

"But it's a good pressure, and I think if you don't feel this pressure you stop being the type of player to play for Chelsea".

Luiz was something of a forgotten man for Chelsea under Antonio Conte last season, falling down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and making only nine Premier League starts.

While it could be argued that they are yet to be properly tested so far this season, they can only beat what is put in front of them.
