Maybe two quarterbacks will be better than one?

Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel said Friday he expects to play both starting quarterback Marcus Mariota and backup Blaine Gabbert in Sunday's game against the Houston Texans.

Mariota practiced fully Wednesday after an injured elbow knocked him out of Tennessee's 27-20 opening loss in Miami, and Vrabel said the quarterback should play Sunday in the home opener barring any setbacks.

We can all remember not too long ago when MI dual-threat quarterback, Denard Robinson tore up the Big 10 Conference and went on to play professionally with the Jacksonville Jaguars. We are going to have to do a lot of things to win this football game, and I would anticipate both of those guys playing at some point and time.

Vrabel didn't indicate how much Gabbert could play or any specifics regarding when or how he might be used in conjunction with Mariota.

Mariota didn't throw during the open portion of practice Friday for the second straight day and was listed as limited and questionable on the team's final injury report.
