The winger was the subject of some heavy challenges on Saturday and picked up a yellow card himself for what appeared to be a retaliatory tackle. That's why I lose my head; some of these yellow cards like the one against Watford, the guy stood on the back of my calf and it's still a yellow card. "There's nothing I can do any more".

'The other players have no desire to accept that a game is a lost cause without him, but until they do win a game, I can't say it is nothing but a fact'.

"At the same time, I have to let my feet do the talking which I did today".

Mounie's wastefulness was punished by a sensational solo goal from in-form Wilfred Zaha in the 38th minute. A few seconds later the ball was flying into the top corner.

Compared to some of his fellow Premier League players, Zaha is under the impression that referees take a more lenient approach to dealing with these issues when he is on the receiving end.

But Zaha was given his usual rough treatment, cynically brought down early on by Zanka before picking up a yellow of his own for a shove on Florent Hadergjonaj soon after.

"He's been playing upfront off (Christian) Benteke, instead of coming from the left and you can see him getting frustrated".

'Unfortunately for Wilf he has a strong sense of justice, he doesn't think people should treat him unfairly but he's learning'. But this was the best performance of the season'.
