While the invite doesn't explicitly mention the anticipated Razer Phone 2, it does promise a "mobility showcase".

But then you take a step back and realize the green frame outlining this invite is no simple border, and features the tell-tale bumps of the Razer Phone's volume buttons: We're looking at a smartphone silhouette.

True to earlier reports, Razer has finally given the Razer Phone 2 an official launch date.

It's unclear what features the Razer Phone 2 might bring, but considering that the first model was a flagship-tier device, we can likely expect high-end features like a Snapdragon 845 processor.

So, what do you think about this? The hardcore game hardware company has just sent out an email to media outlets to let them know they should "save the date" for a reveal coming on October 10.

On this evidence, it appears Razer is also sticking with a 16:9 screen aspect ratio, which is fast falling out of favor with most of the major phone manufacturers who are stretching their displays to 18:9 and beyond.

A few days ago the company claimed that soon a new version of Razer Phone, of course, the Razer Phone 2, would arrive before the end of the year, and today we have been able to learn new information due to a leak. The first device sported giant bezels to accommodate some of the best speakers ever put in a smartphone, but I expected some sort of reduction there given current design trends.
