Gwinnett County Police announced Monday they've launched an investigation into a weekend incident involving comedian Katt Williams, V103 radio host Wanda Smith and her husband.

The police report states, however, that Sellers claimed his gun had simply fallen out.

Gwinnett Police said surveillance video from the Food Depot surveillance cameras shows Sellers chasing Williams into the store, but does not show Sellers holding a gun.

According to the officer, Williams and Smith had a verbal altercation at the club stemming from an earlier interview between the two.

During an interview with V-103 FM's Frank And Wanda In The Morning, Williams poked fun at Smith's hair, weight and cooking skills. He did admit to the officers, though, that he chased Williams into a nearby supermarket but did not proceed to point his gun at him. "It threw me off".

There is a lot of speculation and misinformation on the Internet about the incident with Katt Williams and Wanda Smith's husband. "It felt like, as he started to talk in the beginning - he had an agenda".

Wanda and Williams crossed paths again the next night at the Atlanta Comedy Theater, where a verbal altercation began. Smith said that she was not prepared to get into a roasting session with Williams.

Cops say there were no independent witnesses and surveillance footage from the Atlanta Comedy Theater could not be accessed at the time.

As previously reported, Williams and Smith confronted each other at the Atlanta Comedy Theater in Norcross, Georgia, on September 15. It is our understanding Mr. Williams stated he did not want to press charges so all the talk seems to be much ado about nothing.
