Graeme Souness savages Paul Pogba despite match-winning display

I don't want to say it was Bailly or Jones, and it's now Smalling or Lindelof.

Souness, who has repeatedly criticised Pogba during the France international's time at Old Trafford, was again scathing in his assessment of Pogba, despite his excellent display in Europe's premier club competition.

Speaking on television yesterday after Manchester United's victory over Young Boys, in which Pogba scored two goals, Souness still could not find it within himself to praise the World Cup victor. We had the result we wanted, maybe the performance should be better, but we have the result and three points. I don't want to say our improvement has the name of Chris or Victor.

Mourinho will be without suspended Marcus Rashford and Nemanja Matic against Wolves, who have lost just one of their first five matches to sit ninth in the table.

Having played under Mourinho during his career, much has been made of Nuno's link with the United boss - with reports in some national papers suggesting he could be eyed up as a future Manchester United manager following his strong start to life in England.

"I don't think he has improved since the day he arrived".

"I have the confidence of the players to let me take it so I thank them for that and thanks the manager for letting me take it as well".

While Rojo managed 55 minutes for United's Under-23 side versus Reading, though, the defender will have to wait to return to Mourinho's starting XI in the Premier League after picking up another problem in training. "Apart from that, we go with everything we have and we have to try to win". Fantastic work and the result speaks for itself'.
