Markelle Fultz looks like he's fixed his jump shot

Philadelphia 76ers point guard Markelle Fultz seems to have made some vast improvements on his jump shot mechanics, looking a lot smoother than he did with a hitch-like motion past year before hitting the shelf for most of the Sixers' season. Fultz going from the No. 1 pick to one of the biggest mysteries in the National Basketball Association was one of the biggest stories in the league. After appearing in just 14 games last season while sporting a odd hitch in his shot due to a shoulder injury, the 2017 No. 1 pick displayed a smooth stroke in a video for The Players' Tribune on Thursday morning.

"I knew that I got drafted No. 1 pick for a reason". "There was a lot of things about changing shots and all this and there, but for me, I'm a hooper so I'm like: 'Man, this isn't gonna stop me'". They thought like, 'Man, he's just being soft'. And now I got a chance to just sit down and pick apart all these doctors. "We figured it out, and I've been back to work this summer". He also overcame - or, hopes to overcome - what trainer Drew Hanlen described as a case of "the yips", averaging 7.1 points in 14 games while attempting just one 3-point shot. "And everything's back to even better than what it was". Fultz appears to be confident that will happen. Hanlen said on the Talking Schmidt Podcast in June he expected Fultz's shot to be flawless by the end of the summer. That's why you don't see me on social media right now posting videos of me shooting and everything because I want it to be special when I come back. "I want to have people guessing, so it's going to be good".
