He later tweeted a statement announcing that he was leaving his position as a CNN political commentator "to focus on clearing my name and fighting the false and defamatory accusations being made against me". According to court documents, he mixed the pill into a "smoothie beverage".

Court documents for the custody battle between Miller and A.J. Delgado, another former Trump staffer, show that Miller also allegedly had an affair with a woman he met at an Orlando, Fl., strip club in 2012. The woman became pregnant while having an affair with Miller. "The pill induced an abortion, and Jane Doe wound up in a hospital emergency room, bleeding heavily and almost went into a coma".

The court documents were filed September 14 in Miami-Dade Circuit Court as part of an ongoing custody battle between Miller and Delgado. "Jane Doe herself was hospitalized for two days, the abortion pill possibly reacting with potential street drugs in her system at the time she drank the Smoothie".

In a series of tweets the following day, Miller denied the story and said it "was wrongfully published by the gossip blog Splinter despite the obviousness of its falsity and lack of factual support".

Doe is reported to have contacted staffers of politicians associated with Miller, and Miller is said to have pressured her to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Miller has vehemently denied the accusations in a lengthy statement shared to Twitter, where he also announced he would step down from his role with CNN.

The filing further alleges that an unnamed journalist investigating the story uncovered information about another woman with whom Miller had allegedly had a relationship, who says that Miller was physically abusive toward her - something that Delgado indicates rang true with her, as she says she has previously filed documentation with the court describing the physical abuse Miller allegedly subjected her to, most notably when she refused to terminate her own pregnancy and was "forced to flee" Miller's apartment for safety.

Miller acted as a spokesperson for the Trump campaign and was a member of the Trump transition team.

The statement reads, in part: "I have chose to step away from my role as a political commentator at CNN to focus on clearing my name and fighting the false and defamatory accusations being made against me".

CNN confirmed Miller is "no longer with CNN".
