Not my brother's keeper: six siblings speak out against Republican candidate

They did not elaborate. To maximise its impact, the ad doesn't name the six speakers until the end - they're just presented as normal Arizona folks.

"If he actually cared about people in rural Arizona, I bet he'd be fighting for Social Security, for better access to health care, I bet he would be researching what is the most insightful water policy to help the environment of Arizona sustain itself and be successful", says Jennifer, a medical interpreter. Gosar is estranged from a lot of them due to his hard-line positions on such issues as immigration ("it would be hard to see my brother as anything but a racist", Grace Gosar says in another ad), as well as his conspiracy theories, including that the Charlottesville white supremacist rally was organized by "the left" and George Soros (their letter on that here).

In the video testimonial ads, the six Gosar siblings - Tim, Jennifer, Gaston, Joan, Grace, and David - lament what they are doing, but also reveal emotional, personal stories and tell voters why they have made a decision to speak out against their brother now. Gosar's siblings appeared in other ads for Brill that were uploaded to his YouTube page.

"Paul Gosar the congressman isn't doing anything to support rural America", says Grace, touted as simply a rural physician, as the ad opens. David Gosar said that their parents, who are in their 80s, are Republicans and support his brother.

In an interview with the Washington Post, David said that he does not speak with his brother much and that their relationship began to fray once he said he discovered Paul was a birther during his first congressional run. Paul moved to Arizona after college. In addition to Grace, David and Jennifer, Gosar's other siblings - Joan, Tim and Gaston - also appear in the ad. Gosar has nine siblings, with three not appearing in the ad.

Mr Gosar, who is one of ten children, has not yet responded to this most recent public attack by his siblings. Character assassination wasn't revered. "It is extremely upsetting to have to call you out on this, Paul, but you've forced our hand with your deceit and anti-Semitic dog whistle".

Rep. Gosar has held Arizona's 4th district seat in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2013.

Paul has not yet apologized. Tim Gosar says, "It's intervention time and intervention time that you go to vote Paul out". Gosar also told Vice that 88-year-old Soros, who survived German-occupied Hungary, had "turned in his own people to the Nazis"-a common slander against Soros by conspiracy theorists".
