John Miller, 67, and Michael Miller, 31, have both been charged with murder and freed on $25,000 bond.

"You can see that I stepped in between them, and I said, 'You're not going to shoot my husband, ' then he fired past my head", Box said.

John and Michael Miller have both been charged with first-degree murder after Howard's fiancee caught the two on camera opening fire on Howard.

The dispute began between John Miller and Howard, at which point Michael Miller allegedly went inside to retrieve a shotgun.

"He [Howard] didn't even swing it, he threw it over both of their heads and it landed behind them in the alley", Box told KTXS. "That's when John [Miller] pulled a pistol out of his shorts", Box said. Behind him, Michael Miller has a shotgun in his right hand and is resting it on his shoulder, behind his head.

In the video, you can hear Howard telling the Millers that they were going to go to jail.

"Aaron goes into pappa bear mode", Box said.

"Oh yeah, you're going to jail", Howard can be heard saying in the video. Howard then gets angrier and starts shouting that Miller "pulled a gun in front of [our] children!"

"If you come within three foot of me I'm gonna shoot you", the father says. The police arrived soon after and the Millers were arrested.

The men are heard threatening one another throughout the ordeal.

Police believe that at least five shots were fired.

On Sept. 1, John Miller went outside to throw trash away, police said.

Abilene Police Department in a press statement posted responding to calls about shots being fired around 10.15am, with attending police arresting father and son on murder charges after the neighbor dying shortly after at hospital.

The video shows at least four shots were fired during the confrontation, and Box said she was nearly shot by one of them.

Box told KTXS News that the incident when Howard was shot was the first interaction that Howard had with his neighbors.

Footage has been released showing the moments a Texas father and son executing a man following an argument over trash.

Just before Howard is shot, Box tries to get between the three men.

The two shirtless men are holding the weapons while engaged in a verbal confrontation with Howard.

The news station also reached out to Taylor County District Attorney Jim Hicks, who claimed he hasn't seen Box's video and requested a copy.

"Video evidence like this is always graphic and very hard to watch", Hicks said in an interview on the station.

On Thursday, John and Michael Miller said they didn't want to talk about that day or the charges against them.

But moments later they appear to do just that, with Box filming herself screaming in anguish as she rushes to her partner's side.
