It has been reported that there will be new songs and tour dates which have all been arranged ahead of this massive comeback.

Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Shane Filan have been confirmed that they will be getting back together.

"It's signed, sealed and delivered and it's definitely happening - and it absolutely does not include Brian McFadden", a source told the publication.

'There's been a lot of speculation, but this time it's a done deal and contracts have been signed'.

According to The Sun, the all-male band - who have sold more than 55 million records - will be reforming in an attempt to repeat the success of the noughties, which saw them regularly topping the charts.

Since leaving the group Brian has embarked on a solo career as well as touring with Boyzone's Keith Duffy as BoyzLife.

In a controversial move, the foursome have reportedly snubbed Simon Cowell's Syco label for Universal - because Simon was only interested in a Westlife reunion if Brian was involved.

Brian might have ditched his boy band, however it has been rumoured that Ed Sheeran will be taking his place, as they are set to release a comeback single.

The global chart-topping sensation is said to have secretly penned their first track.

'It took quite some time to pull together and has been done totally behind closed doors, but he has finally given them the right record to make it happen'.

The insider adds that having the Grammy victor on-board is a "huge coup" and they have already been working hard in the studio.

"They think he will give them a contemporary edge for their reunion". They have already recorded the song and are delighted with the results.
