The Duchess of Sussex carried out her very first solo royal engagement on Tuesday and she looked impeccably stylish in the process. She also brought along Prince Harry and her mother, Doria Ragland.

The area covers islands including New Guinea, Easter Island, Hawaii and New Zealand.

The exhibit also marks the 250th anniversary of the Royal Academy, which was founded in 1768 - the same year Captain James Cook set out on his first Endeavour expedition.

The exhibition will be organised around three main themes. - An exhibit featuring artifacts from regions such as New Zealand, Fiji, the Kingdom of Tonga, and Australia, where she and Prince Harry, 34, will visit in October.

"Meghan is meeting curators, artists and descendants linked to the works displayed and will shortly view a performance by a Māori cultural group", royal commentator Omid Scobie reported.

The exhibition will officially open to the public on Saturday and will run until December 10.
