Grande doesn't seem all that bothered by the commentary. "I feel like I'm living in a fantasyland".

Timing I feel like is everything, and we both were in a similar situation at the same time'.

Grande was appearing as the musical guest on SNL and first met Davidson at a writer's room meeting.

"Scooter told me she was somewhat interested in me", he said, recalling how he was invited to hang out at Grande's NY apartment. I can't believe you aren't here anymore.

"There was no way I could stop", the 24-year-old said of his 2016 rehab stay.

"With you, the shit can come on fierce", Stern replied, referencing Davidson's public diagnosis with borderline personality disorder.

"Are you anxious in a relationship with a woman that your extreme moods could destroy the relationship?"

"I was until I met her", Davidson replied.

"You find the light eventually", she said.

He added, "It's like a constant bombardment of what people think of you, you know what I mean?" "Even if they are good people or not, some people just aren't good in relationships together".

Stern said that even he feels like "s***" sometimes and that his wife is "too good" for him. Whatever. OK.' I mean, he ticks every box and it gets better every day. "Before we started dating I literally scrolled through a list of really hot guys on the internet and I was like 'Are you sure, here's all of One Direction, are you sure?' I scrolled through everybody". I was like, 'Are you sure?

'I got a death threat, ' Davidson said.

Davidson made headlines recently after it was revealed he was engaged to pop star Ariana Grande after a few months of dating. "We have a game plan". During a subsequent interview with Variety, Davidson shared just how he proposed to the singer.

The comedian has revealed that one Ariana fan threatened to shoot him in the face.

"I'm able to let it bounce off, but I think it would bother anybody", he told Stern on Monday. "Something is going to happen, and she's going to be like, 'What the f- is this thing doing around?' For right now, it's rocking".

He also spoke about getting rid of social media, stating he doesn't have his password, but he still has accounts in case he has to 'do something'.

"I can't even put into words how great of a person she is". "You know how insane that is?" And I'm very grateful.

"Someone wanted to shoot me in the face because she's so hot", Davidson told Stern. "I've been in the other shoes. Who knew I was practicing this whole time [for our relationship]?"

He told Stern: "It's the weirdest, coolest thing that's ever happened".
