She was crushing it.

"If you ask her, her main wish is to sing with Christina Aguilera".

The little singer wasn't put off by the massive fireworks set off during the opening ceremony and there was even more entertainment on the pitch as LA Galaxy took on Seattle Sounders in the MLS.

"I was thinking that I can not do anything wrong because it's a really special song to America", she told ABC News.

Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja performed "The Star-Spangled Banner" to more than 25,000 Major League Soccer fans at LA's StubHub Center.

The soprano's short journey has already been an enviable one.

The second-grader also has her own YouTube channel and an Instagram with over 16,000 followers. She started singing at age 1. By the time she was 5, she played Carnegie Hall as a victor of the American Protégé International Vocal Competition.

"She's been singing forever, basically before she could speak", her dad, Arman Tjandrawidjaja, told USA Today.

She loves acting, too.

Malea Emma began singing when she was one-year-old and made her singing debut at Carnegie Hall. She's appeared as Molly in a stage performance of "Annie" at the Hollywood Bowl.

She wasn't even aware that she would be performing until last week.

A representative for the Galaxy told ABC News on Monday that it was the first time the team had held a social-media contest to find a national anthem singer. And I tell her it's fine however she does.
