The back of the latest Galaxy A phone sees four cameras vertically stacked which Samsung says will help you capture the world the way you see it.

Dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), it comes with a total of five cameras- four on the rear side and one on the front side.

The horizontal camera system has a main 24-megapixel f/1.7 main camera at the top of the alignment, which is the sensor that will be used for generic images and low-light shots.

There's another new Samsung Galaxy phone trying to grab your attention and this one comes with a very unique feature. Powering up the phone is, surprisingly, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz, 6GB RAM, and pretty sizeable 3800mAh battery. For more storage, there is a microSD card slot on the device.

It will remain to be seen as to whether the Galaxy A9 Star Pro will be making its way to our shores but we will be reaching out to Samsung Australia after the launch for local availability and pricing. Read on to find out everything about this new Samsung smartphone. Today, the company has finally launched the all-new Galaxy A9 (2018) as the world's first smartphone with quad camera setup on the rear. It offers a 2x optical zoom compared to the main camera.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) flaunts a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display on the front which carries a resolution of 1080×2220 pixels and 18.5:9 aspect ratio.

Users can unlock the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) using the software-based Face Unlock functionality. From the always-on display and fast charging to the fingerprint sensor, facial recognition, and headphone jack, the phone keeps up with the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus.

It will come in Caviar Black, Lemonade Blue and Bubblegum Pink. So far it looks to be shaping up to be a solid mid-range Android phone and with a retail price of £549 it looks to be offering some nice features without hitting the insane flagship price tags.

'Building on our legacy in smartphone camera development, we're introducing next-generation technology across our entire Galaxy portfolio to give more consumers the opportunity to experience cutting-edge innovation, ' said Samsung mobile chief DJ Koh to mark the launch.
