Fox Sports Detroit will replace longtime Tigers broadcasters Rod Allen and Mario Impemba for next season after an altercation took place in early September, per Anthony Fenech of the Detroit Free Press.

Now the two have apparently lost their jobs.

The pair had been together in Detroit's broadcast booth for 17 years.

The altercation was because of a disagreement over a chair in the booth, sources told Local 4. Allen's agent called those accusations "utter fabrications".

Fox Sports Detroit and the Tigers have not commented on the departure of Impemba and Allen.

Allen and Impemba did call another Tigers game from that point.

The Detroit Tigers will have a new look in the TV broadcast booth for the 2019 season.

Neither has spoke publicly about the incident or to the media.

Matt Shepard and Kirk Gibson filled in for the last two months of the season.
