Following the debut of its first poster, a teaser for the live-action Disney's Aladdin adaptation starring Will Smith is confirmed to debut tonight during FOX's Thursday Night Football.

The original Aladdin was released as an animated movie in 1992, starred Robin Williams as Genie and went on to take home two Oscars and earn $504 million at the worldwide box office.

Keeping touch with the character, Smith shared the poster with a caption that reads, "LEMME OUT!" The poster uses coloring exactly like the animated film, featuring ornate engravings on the lamp and a wisp of blue smoke hinting at the genie within.

Aladdin is among a series of live-action remakes Disney has been working on.

This new rendering of the magic lamp marks a pleasing call-back to the 1992 theatrical poster, which also featured the lamp front-and-centre - here's a reminder if your memory doesn't stretch back 26 years.

Naomi Scott, who played the Pink Ranger in the 2017 "Power Rangers" movie, is Princess Jasmine in the film, directed by Guy Ritchie.

Aladdin is hitting theaters some time in May. "Can't wait for y'all to see Me BLUE!" .

Guy Ritchie is helming the new Aladdin movie, from a script he co-wrote with Vanessa Taylor and John August.
