"I could say I'm the most bullied person on the world", Melania explained.

Mrs Trump paused to think when asked whether the claims had hurt her personally - then offered a vague answer that appeared to blame journalists for spreading the stories.

Despite the public's constant focus on her personal life, the persistent allegations of infidelity and the onslaught of accusations of sexual misconduct against her husband -- accusations the president denies -- the first lady insists their marriage is good and that she loves her husband.

Donald Trump has acknowledged that he reimbursed Cohen for the payment to Daniels, but says he did not have an affair.

'It's what media speculate, and its gossip.

Melania also said there are people now in the White House she doesn't trust and who do not have her husband's best interests in mind. But I know what is right and what is wrong and what is true and what is not true'. "It's not always correct stuff", she added in the clip released Friday.

"One of them - if you really see what people [are] saying about me".

In an interview with ABC News, Melania discussed social media and the reasons why she's so passionate about focusing her efforts on ending cyberbullying.

Back in June, Rudy Giuliani, Trump's personal lawyer in the special counsel investigation, said at a conference in Israel that Melania Trump does not believe her husband had an affair with Daniels.

Karen McDougal, a former Playboy Playmate, has alleged having an affair with Trump during the same time frame, which the president has denied.

"I never talked to Mr. Giuliani", she said.
