The singer explained that he realised he had become too caught up in his own success and he can now no longer stomach "the celebrity narcissism".

Singer and four-time Grammy victor Michael Bublé is officially retiring from music following his son's battle with cancer. Buble will be focusing on his family instead of his musical career.

In what he said is his last ever interview, Michael confirmed he no longer "has the stomach" for the industry. According to the article, he says, "I'm retiring from the business".

He added: "I don't know if I can even get through this conversation without crying".

The diagnosis not only changed Michael's way of thinking, but gave him a wake up call.

Noah was diagnosed when he was just three-years-old and Buble said that he and his wife will be withdrawing from public life.

Buble's 5-year-old son was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2016. I'd lost the joy and at some point just before the Brits I was starting to lose the plot.

The "Save the Last Dance for Me" singer stated: "I decided I'll never read my name again in print, never read a review, and I never have". I thought, "Wow! This is fun'".

The singer said that he was finished with fame and the anxiety that comes along with it and he admitted that "just wanted to die" after he learned that Noah was sick.

He won't be using social media, conducting interviews or releasing music moving forward, apart from his final album. "It sucked and it still sucks, because what we went through was THE worst possible thing that you could hear as a parent and maybe as a human being", he told The Sun in an interview published on October 4.

Noah, one of three children with wife of seven years, Argentinian model and actress Luisana Lopilato, is now in remission.

He reportedly said he wants to leave music at the "very top" after making the "perfect record".

"Going through this with Noah, I didn't question who I was, I just questioned everything else".
