Nearly $1 billion in combined grand prize money could await lottery players with tickets for the Mega Millions and Powerball lottery games this week. It was the largest prize distributed for a single ticket.

The Lottery has raised more than $4.4 billion to fund designated education programs, including after-school programs, scholarships, and the Governor's Drive to 55 initiatives.

Meanwhile, an estimated $654 million is up for grabs in the next Mega Millions drawing.

The potential jackpot is the second highest in game history.

If you don't have luck with the Mega millions, maybe you'll have better luck on Wednesday!

The last time anyone won the jackpot was July 24, when a group from California claimed a $543 million prize.

Tuesday's drawing is close to breaking the record for the largest-ever prize in the game's history. The two games make the combined possible winnings $999 million dollars. No one won Saturday night's jackpot; the winning numbers were 11-14-32-43-65 and a Powerball of 15.
